Contour Airlines and the Town of Taos Celebrate Inaugural Flights for
Non-stop Service between Taos and Denver International Airport
Taos, NM (June 18, 2025) – Contour Airlines and the Town of Taos are excited to announce new direct flights between Taos Regional Airport (SKX) and Denver International Airport (DEN), launching on June 26, 2025.
To celebrate the launch, the Town of Taos will host a ceremonial ribbon-cutting on June 26th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Taos Regional Airport, which is open to the public and members of the media. The first inaugural Contour flight from Denver is scheduled to arrive at Taos Regional Airport at 12:50 P.M. and depart back to Denver at 1:20 P.M.
"This agreement with Contour to provide direct flights from Taos to Denver International Airport signifies the culmination of years of air service development designed to meet the needs of locals and visitors," said Town of Taos Mayor Pascualito Maestas. "Taoseños now have convenient access to the world at an affordable rate."
The ribbon cutting event will include remarks from Town of Taos officials and representatives from Contour Airlines, commemorating the new connection to one of the nation's busiest travel hubs.

The new Taos-DIA-Taos flights will operate three times weekly – on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays – offering convenient access to the iconic landscapes and vibrant culture of Taos while also providing Northern New Mexico residents with seamless connectivity through Denver.
